What You'll Be Doing Perform routine inspections and assist with maintenance of plant mechanical equipment Support preventative maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operations Identify and help troubleshoot equipment issues alongside experienced technicians Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean and organized condition Follow established safety practices and contribute to a strong safety culture What Are We Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in industrial or heavy equipment systems Ability to follow procedures, learn quickly, and apply hands-on skills effectively Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $24.23 per hour Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
