What You'll Be Doing Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver product to customer job sites on schedule Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and maintain accurate delivery documentation Load, transport, and discharge concrete while ensuring product quality and proper slump consistency Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries Adhere to all safety, DOT, and company policies while promoting a culture of safety at all times What Are We Looking For Valid CDL Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations Strong situational awareness and commitment to safe work practices Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deliveries, and meet deadlines Effective communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Capability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and equipment inspection Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
