The ONESOURCE Consulting Project Manager Is responsible for implementing and delivering our software implementation projects, working closely with other project team members, peer project managers and partner consulting teams. Provide consulting services to external clients. Either manages project team, (client team and/or consulting team), or provide deep subject matter expertise to organization in fulfilling customer deliverables. Overall engagement responsibilities for established client portfolio. Overall ownership of project delivery.
Client Service - responsible for directing the project team; assumes ownership and responsibility for project delivery, project planning, work product, quality control, customer satisfaction and client management.
Project Management - leads project planning sessions with team members to outline scope and approach. Typically works on multiple complex projects/issues at a time that often requires a strong subject matter expertise. Often works as a member of the project team(s). Identifies ways to improve the operation of your own area and to achieve efficiency and results. The incumbent is responsible for meeting revenue and utilization metrics as defined by management.
Communications/Status Reporting - maintains a clear line of communication with client and team. Prepares status updates for projects and regularly communicates and shares knowledge with the rest of the firm.
Leadership - spends a portion of time managing team or providing guidance. Individuals have autonomy to make exceptions that follow established guidelines. Responsible for the cost of own team/project, and/or contributing to forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure. Responsible for quality and timeliness of own work, as well as accountability for members of the team. Gives advice to team members and colleagues on functional matters. Broad decision-making authority for routine issues. Provides key insights and formulates recommendations to the broader function.
Travel: There is a travel requirement 20-30% of the time.
Location: Base location will be India, Bangalore (Hybrid working)
About You :
BE/MCA/ MBA
Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal.
Should have work experience with Consulting Implementation projects.
Must have experience in consulting or supporting clients in SEA, Middle East, Europe or India – either over conference calls or in-person.
Must be able to demonstrate analytical/critical thinking.
Must have 5+ years of Project Management Experience.
Must have a good understanding of O2C (order to cash) and/or P2P (procure to pay) business processes.
Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. Determination, Tax ware and/or Vertex) is highly desired.
Must be able to travel within India. Up to 20-30% travel is expected.
Experience working for consulting or professional services organizations ie. Systems Integrators, ERP consulting firms or “Big-4”, specializing in the areas of trade management, supply chain management, transportation management and/or tax technology.
Strong client relationship management skills. Good communication and coordinating skills.
Individual can effectively communicate project expectations to all team members and stakeholders including client senior management, business representatives, partners, customers, and consultants.
Excellent English communication skill. Excellent Interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing Cloud Implementation projects. 5+ years of experience in implementing ERP projects.
Excellent business analysis, data analysis and project management skills.
Detail oriented, good planning and organization skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional, team influencing skills.
Self-starter and tenacious in pursuing the goals of the project.
PMI certification would be a plus.
