And we foster a supportive, people-first work environment. “We know the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply — we’d love to hear from you.” Role Overview:   The Sales Agronomist   III   will   be responsible for   managing existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory,   assisting   customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, and   maintaining   and developing profitable customer relationships.   A Sample of What   You’ll   Do in   t his Role:   M anag e   existing and attract new customers within the sales territory .      Assist   customers in selecting and using products based on agronomic needs .     Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships .      Identify   new key customers, understand their business,   determine   their needs, and   drive the   team to achiev e   sales territory   goals and growth .      Manage   territory budgeting, forecasting, and analysis .     F ollow credit policies and manag e   risk   for the company .     Lead the   annual business plan t o   optimize   growth and profitability for the territory .      Implement marketing and sales plans; meet sales goals; and network with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities .   Be the primary   customer   contact   regarding   deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, and custom applications .   Lead and mentor team members, review  the work   of others, and provide constructive feedback .   What You Bring to   t he Role:        5+ years of experience   Ability to influence sales management to adopt   new ideas , practices, and approaches   Deep working knowledge of local agricultural crops and market practices    Provide clear direction and motivate   others     Excellent presentation skills    Proficient in working with MS Office Suite    W ork independently with   general   oversight   Agronomy/Agribusiness   d egree   What Makes You   a   Great Fit:   You have strong   interpersonal and team-building skills ,   a positive attitude ,   and   the   ability to   establish   relationships with field personnel, peers, and customers   You have   excellent   English   written and oral communication skills   You’re   comfortable in front of   small and large groups   and have   the ability to lead and influence   You are detail-oriented and accuracy-oriented,   with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously   You’re   o pen to   new ideas   and   are   not afraid to challenge the norm to help find better solution s   Compensation and Benefits:   In addition to salary, t his position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
