About this Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Markets Client Delivery professional to support the Sales organization by driving the end‑to‑end onboarding process for Derivatives clients. This includes document collection, account opening, front‑office system enablement, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure clients are successfully set up to transact in a timely and controlled manner.
The Markets Client Delivery (MCD) role is responsible for managing end‑to‑end client onboarding and trading enablement across Derivatives businesses, supporting multiple Sales desks and client segments. The role serves as a central coordinator throughout the onboarding lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and effective collaboration across Sales, Operations, Negotiations, Compliance, and other downstream partners.
This position plays a critical role in streamlining onboarding activities by coordinating documentation, account opening requests, system configuration, and milestone tracking. The role is designed to enhance scalability, transparency, and consistency in the client onboarding experience while enabling Sales teams to remain focused on client engagement and revenue generation. In this role, you will:
Partner closely with Sales teams to manage the onboarding pipeline for Derivatives clients, establish priorities, and provide regular status updates to Sales, clients, Negotiations, and Operations
Submit, track, and manage onboarding and account opening requests through COBAM (onboarding workflow tool)
Coordinate with Sales, Relationship Managers, clients, and third‑party advisors to collect, validate, and deliver required onboarding documentation (e.g., organizational documents, tax forms, regulatory attestations)
Serve as a central point of contact for onboarding across covered businesses, including setting priorities, driving execution, coordinating documentation, and responding to questions related to client and account setups
Maintain onboarding checklists and track key milestones to ensure timely progression, transparency, and issue resolution
Partner with the Negotiations team to ensure required agreements and legal documentation are executed prior to trading enablement
Coordinate with Operations and downstream teams to ensure timely and accurate account opening, system setup, and trading authorization
Identify onboarding constraints and lead process, policy, and communication improvements to support efficiency, scalability, and client experience
Support projects and initiatives related to onboarding enhancements, control improvements, and regulatory or policy changes
Deliver onboarding metrics, reporting, and insights to key stakeholders
Support configuration and enablement of front‑office systems related to FX and Derivatives pricing and trading, as applicable
Monitor and action control reports related to onboarding activities and system configuration to support risk management and compliance
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strong organizational, execution, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent onboarding workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaboration skills and experience coordinating activities across various internal partners such as Sales, Operations, Negotiations, Compliance, as well as external stakeholders
Experience supporting end-to-end client onboarding, account opening, or trading enablement within Markets or Financial Services
High attention to detail with the ability to track milestones, manage documentation, and proactively identify and resolve issues
Understanding of regulatory, control, and documentation requirements relevant to broker-dealer or markets onboarding activities
Ability to analyze process gaps, contribute to workflow improvements, and support scalability and consistency initiatives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with experience producing status reporting and metrics
Familiarity with FX and/or Derivatives products and onboarding tools (e.g., COBAM or similar platforms) preferred
Experience with AI and workflow tools that reduce manual tasks through increased automation
