Finance Operations Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) performs accounting and financial planning & analysis services, and our primary customers are Finance Operations, Central Accounting and other Amazon Finance teams. We focus on controllership and financial stewardship. FOAA seeks an experienced Finance Manager to support Accounts Receivable Accounting. This role will lead operational excellence initiatives, improve controllership, execute on recurring and holistic analytics; with strategic significance and high exposure. This role will focus on controllership with a mission to identify risk, document, design and implement improvements, and build scalable analytical frameworks to be leveraged by multiple cross-functional teams. This role works with and effectively influences partner teams and key stakeholders across multiple organizations. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership and sound judgment in decisions that have financial, business, operational, or customer implications, which leads the team to take smart risks and innovate. The ideal candidate has extensive financial statement audit and corporate accounting experience and who excels at problem solving, pays attention to details, and drives positive change by evaluating and streamlining existing operational and accounting processes, controls and metrics.
