The AWS Executive Briefing Program is seeking an Executive Engagement Manager to plan and deliver high-value executive engagements in our Seattle Executive Briefing Center. This role sits at the intersection of strategic engagement management and business development. You will orchestrate world-class engagement experiences while serving as a strategic advisor to AWS account teams, helping them leverage the Executive Briefing Program to accelerate business outcomes. As an Executive Engagement Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of executive engagements hosted onsite. This includes managing planning timelines, stakeholder expectations and communications, executive engagement strategy, and the successful execution of engagements. In this role you will work with internal sales stakeholders to provide strategic consultation on the design of executive engagements. You will work backwards from the customer's business objectives to develop bespoke engagement agendas and experiences that solve specific customer challenges, drive adoption of AWS services, and accelerate pipeline outcomes. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with VP+ executives, conducting industry research, and translating customer business challenges into compelling engagement narratives. Key job responsibilities • Manage end-to-end planning for executive engagements hosted in the Seattle Executive Briefing Center • Develop engagement agendas and facilitate experiences that connect AWS executive leaders, technical subject matter experts, and customers for strategic, outcome-based discussions • Serve as a strategic advisor to account teams, conducting consultative discovery to qualify engagement opportunities and align agenda design to deal strategy • Coach account teams through the intake process, proactively positioning the Executive Briefing Program as a deal accelerant • Handle objections from internal stakeholders and customers, articulating differentiated value with data-backed positioning • Orchestrate multi-stakeholder alignment across complex customer organizations, ensuring the right decision-makers are in the room • Partner with automation tooling initiatives to shift capacity from administrative tasks toward strategic customer-facing work • Conduct post-engagement debriefs with account teams and leadership to capture outcomes and inform future strategy • Build key relationships across sales, marketing, and technical communities to drive program adoption and deliver a streamlined experience • Develop and refine standard operating procedures; drive YoY process improvements that measurably raise the bar A day in the life As an Executive Engagement Manager, your days will be spent hosting customers at our Seattle Executive Briefing Center, meeting with account teams to plan and craft customer engagements, and sourcing the right AWS speakers to meet customer business objectives. About 25-50% of the work week is spent hosting customers while the remainder is spent planning future engagements, conducting industry research, and working with the team to drive program efficiencies and improve the customer experience. About the team The AWS Executive Briefing Program team plans and delivers strategic executive engagements that connect senior customer leaders with AWS leadership to accelerate business outcomes.
