Partner with the best As a ARMO Mechanic II, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing surface equipment and associated systems. You will apply your mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure equipment meets operational specifications while adhering to Baker Hughes quality and safety standards.
As a ARMO Mechanic II you will be responsible for: Maintaining assigned trucks, ships, and surface cabin equipment in accordance with operating specifications
Performing mechanical inspections, refurbishment, painting, and welding activities
Assisting in repairing, reworking, testing, and modifying non-conforming equipment
Utilizing moderately complex diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot faults
Supporting maintenance of electro-mechanical systems, including hydraulic and electrical components
Interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and parts lists to execute maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and electrical systems, including 3-phase (480V) and single-phase (120V) systems
Operating and using diagnostic tools such as: Multimeters
Megohmmeters
Hi-pot testers
Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) policies and procedures
Applying standard maintenance practices and following formal procedures
Supporting special projects as assigned
Demonstrating a proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Technical diploma or minimum 1 year of relevant industrial experience in electro-mechanical functions
Have experience in industries such as oil & gas, automotive, airline, military, or electronics
Possess a strong mechanical or diesel mechanic background
Have prior exposure to the oil & gas industry (preferred/required)
Demonstrate knowledge of: Electrical systems (3-phase and single-phase)
Hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
Mechanical maintenance practices
Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Have basic computer skills
Hold (preferred but not required) certifications such as: A/C certification
Electrical Maintenance
Stationary Engineer
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Show ability to work independently and in a team environment
