About this Role:
Join our team as a Software Engineer focused on operational excellence in HR Technology. In this role, you will build and support custom integration solutions for HR and Sales Compensation platforms, helping deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions. You will contribute to improving system availability, performance, and integration capabilities to support evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance key HR and Sales Compensation integrations to support business growth.
Design and implement improvements to strengthen application stability, scalability, and efficiency.
Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve integration performance and capabilities.
Build automation to reduce manual effort and streamline support processes.
Contribute to operational readiness through runbooks and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions and clear documentation.
What You Will Need:
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software engineering or integration development.
Proficiency in Python for building integrations, automation, or services.
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, or similar cloud technologies.
Experience working with APIs and web services (REST/SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).
Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
Basic understanding of identity and access management (IAM, Active Directory, Okta).
Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Sales Compensation and HR systems and integrations.
Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Splunk, Selenium, Power BI).
Exposure to cloud-native or event-driven architectures.
