Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist II to join the Product Development team supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing product development efforts. This role is hands-on in the lab, with a strong emphasis on supporting lyophilization development, reagent characterization, and QC testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing experiments, generating high-quality data, and supporting the development of robust, manufacturable products. This position operates at the interface of R&D and Operations and focuses on experimental execution, assay testing (including NULISA and related platforms), and supporting product transfer activities.   Duties and Responsibilities Execute laboratory experiments, analytical assays, QC testing, and product characterization to evaluate NULISA product performance, quality, and stability   Generate, document, and analyze experimental data with strong attention to accuracy and reproducibility   Maintain detailed and organized laboratory records   Support development and optimization of lyophilized reagent formulations and processes   Execute experiments evaluating lyophilization performance, stability, and reconstitution   Support verification and validation (V&V) studies under guidance and established protocols   Assist  in product transfer and NPI activities by executing experiments and preparing documentation   Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, QC, and Quality   Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards   Qualifications   B.S. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related field with  2 + years of relevant  industry  experience    Hands-on experience executing laboratory experiments in a biotech or life sciences setting   Experience with basic assay techniques such as immunoassays or molecular biology methods   Strong attention to detail and a bility to perform routine  laboratory tasks with consistency and  accuracy  to generate high-quality, reproducible data   Ability to follow established protocols and execute experiments with guidance while building independence   Strong record-keeping and documentation skills, with attention to experimental details, observations, deviations, and results   Effective communication and teamwork skills   Experience with immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, Simoa ) and molecular assays (PCR, qPCR)   Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and workflows   Basic data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools   Preferred Qualifications   Experience with lyophilization or reagent stabilization techniques   Experience running or supporting NULISA or similar assay platforms   Exposure to QC testing, assay characterization, or V&V studies   Experience in product development or manufacturing support environments   Familiarity with regulated environments (ISO 13485, GLP, GMP)   The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
