POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Sales Development drives pipeline generation, market expansion, and revenue acceleration by leading a high-performing inbound sales organization within Empower’s hyper-growth, highly regulated 503A and 503B pharmacy environment. This role owns sales development strategy, prospecting execution, talent performance, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional alignment across commercial operations, marketing, analytics, and customer engagement initiatives. The leader leverages AI as a force multiplier to increase speed, scale, lead quality, workflow efficiency, and data-driven decision-making while strengthening operational rigor and customer acquisition outcomes. Success requires experienced talent capable of strategic thinking, disciplined execution, learning agility, and continuous optimization in complex, fast-moving environments where accountability, innovation, compliance, and measurable business impact are essential to sustainable growth. The position also champions coaching excellence, scalable processes, and resilient teams that consistently exceed aggressive commercial objectives targets. RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Leadership Pipeline Ownership : Lead and optimize Empower’s sales development function by establishing scalable inbound strategies, driving qualified pipeline growth, and aligning prospecting priorities with enterprise revenue objectives. Utilize AI-enabled analytics, workflow automation, and performance intelligence tools to improve targeting precision, accelerate conversion velocity, and enhance forecasting accuracy. Coach high-performing teams through structured accountability, measurable execution standards, and continuous development practices that strengthen productivity, collaboration, and commercial impact. Talent Development : Recruit, develop, and retain elite sales development talent capable of operating effectively within a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment. Implement structured onboarding, coaching frameworks, and performance management processes that elevate execution quality, learning agility, and operational discipline. Leverage AI-driven coaching insights, conversation intelligence, and productivity analytics to personalize development plans, identify capability gaps, and accelerate individual and team performance outcomes across the sales organization. Performance Execution : Drive operational excellence through disciplined management of sales activity metrics, pipeline health, prospect engagement, and conversion performance. Establish rigorous performance expectations, monitor execution against strategic objectives, and implement corrective actions that improve efficiency and accountability. Utilize AI-powered dashboards, predictive insights, and reporting tools to strengthen decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and support scalable revenue growth across Empower’s expanding commercial organization. Market Expansion Prospecting Strategy : Design and execute targeted inbound prospecting initiatives that expand market reach, strengthen provider engagement, and accelerate customer acquisition opportunities. Partner closely with marketing, sales leadership, and commercial operations teams to align outreach strategies with business priorities and market dynamics. Utilize AI-enabled segmentation, lead scoring, and behavioral insights to improve prospect quality, personalize engagement strategies, and maximize pipeline generation effectiveness across multiple customer segments. Customer Engagement : Strengthen prospect and customer engagement by establishing consistent communication standards, value-driven messaging, and data-informed outreach strategies aligned with Empower’s growth objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer experiences throughout the sales development lifecycle while maintaining compliance with regulatory expectations. Leverage AI-supported engagement tools, automation platforms, and analytics capabilities to increase responsiveness, improve conversion effectiveness, and enhance relationship-building outcomes at scale.
