Senior Manager, Delivery Project Management
The LA28 Technology team is responsible for both IT for the organization and technology equipment and services to enable the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Within the Technology team, the Service Delivery organization (SVD) is responsible for delivering the underlying hardware, software and services to support corporate operations and G ames delivery. This role brings structure to our project and program management, operational readiness and testing, technology workforce planning, budget management, and technology procurement processes.
T he Senior Manager, Delivery Project Management will report to the Head of Technology Service Delivery and serve a key role in managing a large volume of projects, processes, and initiatives across the team. As the Senior Manager, Delivery Project Management , this role will need an ability to implement processes and structure in a fast-paced environment, an exceptional ability to foster relationships, and the project management foundation to meet our delivery needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement project management best practices across the technology f unctional area
Manage complex technology projects involving internal and external stakeholders in a time-sensitive environment
Establish project plans and standard project management delivery mechanisms in support of various technology functions (e.g., applications, cybersecurity, telecommunications)
Lead special projects and key initiatives to ensure effective G ames planning and technology delivery for the 2028 summer G ames
Track, coordinate, plan, and report on technical work across multiple teams and departments
Standardize processes, project documentation, knowledge management, and collaboration practices
Maintain project documentation, project resources, and templates within SharePoint
Collaborate with other functional areas (e.g., Sport, Broadcast) to align cross-functional schedules and timing of project delivery
Coordinate with the Strategic PMO team on organization-wide project management principles, best practices, and centers of excellence
Contribute to the development of change management practices and implementation of change management across the department
Background & Requirements:
Minimum 7 + years of related work experience in technology or sports-related project management
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex and time-sensitive projects
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve issues efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve common goals
Ability to manage multiple large-scale tasks and priorities simultaneously
Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Experience working within a complex, cross-functional organization
Fluent working with Microsoft Office suite of products
Experience with Smartsheet a plus
Ability to design and implement processes including manage change effectively

Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or other PMI designation preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
