Job Title: Chapstick Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Chapstick Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Chapstick Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and improvement of our line of chapstick products. You will utilize your technical expertise to create high-quality chapsticks that meet the needs and preferences of our customers while adhering to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate is passionate about product development, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: 1. Product Design and Development:    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new chapstick products.    - Conduct research and stay updated on emerging trends, materials, and technologies in the chapstick industry.    - Create prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate product performance, durability, and user experience.    - Implement improvements and modifications to existing chapstick formulas and packaging. 2. Formulation and Testing:    - Develop and optimize chapstick formulations to ensure superior quality, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.    - Conduct rigorous testing on chapstick products, including stability testing, compatibility testing, and sensory evaluations.    - Analyze test results and make data-driven decisions to improve product performance and address any issues. 3. Regulatory Compliance:    - Stay informed about relevant regulations, guidelines, and safety standards pertaining to chapstick manufacturing.    - Ensure all chapstick products comply with applicable regulations and maintain necessary documentation.    - Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to complete product registrations and submissions as required. 4. Manufacturing Support:    - Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.    - Provide technical expertise and guidance during the scaling up of new chapstick formulations.    - Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain consistent product quality. 5. Market Research and Customer Insights:    - Conduct market research to identify customer preferences, trends, and competitor analysis.    - Gather customer feedback and conduct surveys to gain insights into customer satisfaction and product performance.    - Utilize market insights to propose new product ideas and improvements. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in product development, formulation, and manufacturing within the personal care industry, preferably with chapstick or lip care products. - Strong knowledge of formulation chemistry, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to chapstick production. - Proficient in conducting product testing and analysis, including stability testing and sensory evaluations. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the personal care industry. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Innovative mindset with a passion for developing high-quality products.
