Why Praxent? We get it. You have options. Let us tell you why we’re different. Our work is changing the world of financial services. Everyday, clients arrive with big ideas for their industry. They’re experts in their field with the vision and resources you need to change everything. All that’s left is the right team to bring that vision to life. If you’re a fast learner and you love working on a wide variety of projects, you’re going to like it here. We help our clients modernize, rather than rebuild, outdated customer-facing software applications. Our clients see a return within weeks instead of months and that’s why they choose us.  At Praxent, we let you do your work your way. We’re a team of 170+ located throughout the United States and Central/South America. Our role is to encourage you, support you, and give you the freedom you need to thrive. We trust our people to be their best. It’s a level of autonomy and respect that’s helped us grow a diverse and brilliant team of experts . Experts who also happen to be some of the best colleagues you’ve ever worked alongside .  This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Team members may live in the following locations: El Salvador, Mexico, or Colombia As part of our hiring process, the first step will be a introductory conversation with an AI-powered recruiter. This helps us ensure an efficient, fair, and consistent experience for all candidates before moving forward to human-led interviews. Working with AI at Praxent We're not looking for someone who can use an AI assistant. We're looking for someone who has rebuilt how they work around one, where Claude Code is a daily partner rather than a tab you open when you're stuck. Building agents is our forward deployed work. This role is a different thing: being a real 10x developer with an agentic coding harness, and running the full software lifecycle through it. The engineers who do their best work here own the craft of agentic development. They write the skills, slash commands, and rules files that make a codebase agent-friendly. They treat context engineering as a core skill, deciding what the model sees, in what order, and what to leave out. They've built consistent, repeatable workflows that drive reliably toward high-quality results, including knowing which model to reach for and when. They understand an agentic coding harness well enough to refine it, not just run it. And they manage the SDLC end to end through agentic practices: planning, implementation, test-first review, and the discipline that keeps agent-generated work from quietly piling up risk. We expect you to write your test cases before the prompt, and to push back on patterns that look productive in a demo but fall apart in a real codebase. The judgment we're hiring for isn't "can you prompt." It's knowing what to let the agent drive, what to own yourself, and how to tell the difference under a deadline. If you've reorganized your own workflow around these tools and can say specifically what changed, that's the conversation we want to have.
