Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials and finished goods. This role provides leadership for warehouse associates, coordinates inbound and outbound activities, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader who promotes accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence while supporting Ruggable's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
Warehouse Operations
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing
Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments
Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet operational demands
Coordinate dock scheduling and material movement throughout the facility
Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness according to 6S standards
Inventory Management
Ensure inventory accuracy through weekly and monthly cycle counts along with physical inventory audits
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or excess inventory concerns
Support material replenishment and Kanban processes
Maintain accurate transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities
Provide training for new employees and ongoing development for existing team members
Perform performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed
Foster a positive work environment focused on accountability and teamwork
Safety & Compliance
Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Conduct weekly safety observations and corrective actions
Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend preventative measures
Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
Maintain compliance with company procedures and operational standards
Continuous Improvement
Track and analyze warehouse performance metrics including:
Inventory Accuracy
Order Accuracy
On-Time Shipment Performance
Productivity Rates
Safety Metrics
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Transportation, Quality and Customer Service teams to resolve operational issues
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze data and make operational decisions
Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office/Excel
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when required
Preferred:
Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000 per year base salary
An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
