About Wellfit: At Wellfit, we’re redefining financial solutions within healthcare. Our platform powers patient financing, payments, membership plans, and integrations that simplify care affordability across practices and enterprise partners. As we scale, we are continuing to invest in the internal systems that support onboarding, configuration, implementation, and operational execution across our business. Wellfit Connect is a critical part of that ecosystem — serving as the internal onboarding and configuration platform where organizations, practices, products, plans, and related setup data are managed before flowing into downstream systems across the company. Position Overview: We are hiring a Product Owner to support Wellfit Connect, our internal onboarding and configuration platform. This role will own requirements, backlog clarity, UI/process flow definition, and delivery execution for a system that impacts multiple downstream platforms, including billing, reporting, Wellfit Pay, finance, operations, and other connected systems. This is a true Product Owner role with some Product Manager-like responsibilities due to the internal nature of the platform. Unlike other product areas, Wellfit Connect does not currently have a dedicated Product Manager. As a result, this person will represent the product area in stakeholder conversations, executive-level discussions, and cross-functional planning while staying deeply focused on execution, delivery, and requirements clarity. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building internal applications, working through complex workflows, partnering closely with engineering and architecture, and translating business needs into clear, practical, deliverable solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as Product Owner for Wellfit Connect, owning requirements, backlog readiness, sprint planning support, and delivery execution. • Partner with business stakeholders, Product leadership, BAs, architects, UX/UI, and engineering teams to translate needs into clear product briefs, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Own the “what,” “why,” and early “how” of UI/process changes, including creating basic wireframes, workflow drafts, or visual concepts that can be handed off to UX/UI for refinement. • Support a highly UI- and process-driven internal platform where onboarding flows, configuration steps, and user interactions must be clearly understood and thoughtfully designed. • Understand how Wellfit Connect data and workflow changes impact downstream systems, including billing, reporting, Wellfit Pay, finance, operations, and other product areas. • Coordinate with other Product Owners and teams to identify cross-system impacts before changes are delivered. • Manage overlapping and interdependent projects where requirements may affect each other and sequencing decisions may create rework if not handled thoughtfully. • Work closely with architects and engineering teams to assess technical feasibility, resource constraints, delivery sequencing, and MVP scope. • Help stakeholders think in MVP terms when projects are too large to deliver all at once, negotiating scope and protecting the development team from unnecessary churn. • Represent the Wellfit Connect team in product meetings, stakeholder conversations, and executive-level discussions when needed. • Maintain backlog hygiene, prioritize incoming requirements, monitor delivery risks, and provide visibility into blockers, dependencies, and tradeoffs. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, demos, retrospectives, and PI planning. • Ramp quickly into the Wellfit Connect application by learning the full onboarding flow, understanding how organizations, practices, products, plans, and compliance steps move through the system. • Build strong working relationships with a collaborative development team and contribute to a positive, helpful team culture. What Makes This Role Unique: Wellfit Connect is not a traditional external-facing product where the Product Owner determines the long-term commercial strategy or roadmap independently. Much of the work is driven by business needs, Launch Loyalty integration work, Dynamics-related initiatives, onboarding improvements, operational requirements, and downstream system dependencies. This person will own the requirements and execution clarity, but they should be comfortable in a reactive, internal-platform environment where priorities often come from other teams and business initiatives. Success in this role requires patience, adaptability, strong systems thinking, and the ability to stay productive even when architecture resources or technical constraints slow delivery. The right person will not become frustrated by ambiguity or dependency-heavy work — they will help bring structure, clarity, and momentum to it. Qualifications: • 5+ years of Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Agile Delivery experience. • Experience working on custom-built SaaS platforms, internal systems, portals, onboarding tools, configuration platforms, or workflow-heavy business applications. • Strong experience translating business requirements into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and delivery-ready backlog items. • Comfortable creating basic UI mockups, wireframes, workflow diagrams, or visual drafts to communicate product ideas before UX/UI refinement. • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models and experience working with tools such as Jira and documentation platforms. • Experience working closely with architects, engineers, BAs, UX/UI teams, and business stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects with competing requirements and cross-team dependencies. • Strong MVP mindset with the ability to break large initiatives into practical, deliverable phases. • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders. • Comfortable op
