AbbVie’s Business Evolution Strategic Development (BESD) team is an enterprise team responsible for developing and driving forward-looking strategic plans that will ensure AbbVie’s readiness for, and ability to successfully navigate, potential changes in the healthcare environment such as Most Favored Nations (MFN) pricing controls and Prescription Benefit Manager (PBM) .
The Project Manager, BESD role provides business-critical operational support for cross-functional initiatives related to addressing external disruptions. Facilitates the execution on business priorities and strategies and enables strategic decision making by: project managing key milestones, governance, synthesizing key insights, meeting preparation, workshop planning, and contributing to the development of high-impact leadership presentations. Serve a critical role in supporting stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment, risk mitigation, clear communication, and timely execution of key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with core teams and key stakeholders to align priorities, goals, deliverables
Translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans
Navigate complex ways of working by synthesizing direction from multiple leaders to ensure alignment across BESD and cross-functional stakeholders
Support key workstreams; develop and maintain trackers, decision logs, follow-ups and execution plans
Synthesize key insights from meeting discussions, determine and drive next steps/deliverables, ownership and timing
Coordinate across workstream leads to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and advance work
Identify, anticipate, and mitigate risks, gaps, and dependencies impacting delivery
Support leadership meetings, including master calendar, preparation sessions, content/design development, deck reviews, and pre-reads
Plan, facilitate, and execute workshops, meetings, and events; capture clear next steps and responsible parties
Prepare executive-level dashboards, reports, presentations, and meeting materials that support strategic decision-making
Support sprints, pilots, and ongoing operational activities
Maintain decision logs and document outcomes to support scalability and future planning
Identify, track, and submit financial documentation, including budget requests, statements of work, and purchase orders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
7+ years of project management experience ; experience with project managing pharma (preferred), PBM, and/or commercial initiatives
Demonstrated success organizational and project coordination skills; attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise in developing polished presentations and materials
Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Knowledge of project management and governance principles
Analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; self-motivated
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of thisposting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.
