We’re seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead night shift operations and oversee a team of 12 to 15 engineering staff. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-output environment where safety, reliability, and teamwork are paramount. The position is based at a modern, fully automated facility in Denton, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct engineering personnel
Train new employees and demonstrate plant-specific procedures
Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment
Read and implement schematics and mechanical drawings
Promote and monitor safety compliance
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.)
Participate in hiring and disciplinary decisions
What We're Looking For
Required
2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial operations
Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology
Night shift availability (alternating 4/3 schedule, 12-hour shifts)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP), preventive maintenance, and system changes
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Physical capability for plant mobility and equipment handling
Strong communication skills in English
Safety compliance and proper use of PPE
Preferred
Experience with Allen Bradley systems and PLCs
Boiler/refrigeration license or other applicable certifications
Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of formal management training
Experience managing a Preventive Maintenance Program
