Required Skills: Technical skills should include strong Oracle, Performance Tuning, Data Warehousing, PL/SQL, Business Intelligence, and UNIX. Oracle application data tuning and optimization, development, and data modelling. Depends on a DBA. Someone who understands development concepts, can looks at indexes, explain plans and PL/SQL blocks and understand what it is, someone who worked in dev environments – sure. Database experience with good knowledge about performance tuning.
