Over the past few years, Collabera has been awarded numerous accolades and Industry  recognition's http://www.collabera.com/about_us/accolades.jsp Job responsibilities & Duties:  • Lead team of Analysts who research and document statutes and ordinances imposing sales, use and other special taxes.  • Lead team who monitors statutes, legislative activity and tax publications to stay abreast of changes in laws.  • Responsible for working directly with customers and helping resolve complex tax issues.  • Provide analysis and make recommendations on complicated tax issues amongst diverse industries and communicate them in an understandable manner to non-tax professionals.  • Perform complex customer-specific special projects as assigned by management.  • Provide guidance to other departments and clients regarding tax processes and rules.  • Manage documentation of rates and product taxability held in systems/applications.  Job and work experience requirements:  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in tax, accounting, business administration, finance, or law  degree.  • 2+ years of experience (preferably with the Big 4) in the tax or accounting industry.  • Must have knowledge of multi-state sales/use tax laws and requirements.  • Ability to utilize online research tools (e.g. Checkpoint, Lexis-Nexis).  • Ability to quickly identify customer specific tax requirements and prepare solutions.  • Superior ability to research indirect tax changes and sourcing changes.  • Superior communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.  • Ability to consistently meet rigid and recurring deadlines.  To know more on this position or to schedule an interview, please contact: Sanjay Nair 612-278-2368 sanjay.nair(at)collabera.com
