Candidate Responsibilities: Performing structural analysis on hydraulic cylinders.  • Manage analysis requisition from design engineers, gain full understanding of analysis requested, perform analysis, make recommendations, and present findings in clear and concise manner to all levels.  Typical Day : Time will be spent 90% at a desk or sitting with engineers to understand failure mode, then putting together presentations for results. Then 10% spent in engineering lab reviewing parts.  Technical Skills: Structural Analysis / FEA experience, Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.  Soft Skills: Team Player, Interpersonal skills, Communication (written and oral) skills, Presentation skills.  • 2-5 years of experience required in working independently handing of FEA (contact interaction of components) o “Front-End Analysis” o “Multiple Components Interfacing” • Any candidate with “STRUCTURAL FEA EXPERIENCE” IS A MAJOR PLUS *** • “Tip-to-Tale Experience with working independently” is highly desired • FEA Experience – Including the following: Pre-Solving, Pre-Processing and Post-Processing o ADVOCAS EXPERIENCE A MAJOR PLUS *** o HyperView and Ancess experience is desired • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer or Related Field – Preferred • Bachelor’s Degree – Required Top 3 Skillsets: 1. FEA Independent Structural Front-End Analysis Experience 2. Structural Analysis Experience 3.
