Responsibilities:  • Identify, plan, deploy, and monitor product and process improvements to eliminate quality defects and improve delivery performance to the customer  • Support, create and improve existing repair documentation to insure consistency between technicians and improve overall process efficiency  • Define and implement measures that are aligned to operational performance metrics such as on time to request, quality escapes / ppm, and cost productivity.  • Work with shop technicians to improve bench test capability and create test alternatives  • Support HOS implementation at the site.  **Must have/Basic Qualifications**:  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field; in lieu of a degree a minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience  • Hands on electrical engineering abilities, aptitude to troubleshoot and fault isolate analog and digital circuitry for both high/low power using applicable test equipment  • Demonstrated ability to apply Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools  • Quality experience: mistake proofing, fault containment, RCCAs  • Ability to project/program manage and effectively communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments  • Solid understanding of repair techniques and their impact on costs  Additional Qualifications:  • Knowledge, skill and experience with wide range of manufacturing and repair processes within the electronics industry.  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments  • Understanding of digital and analog circuitry  • Solid understanding of repair techniques and their impact on costs including continuous improvement. Able to make decisions to positively impact repair operations.  • Financial acumen; an understanding of business metrics and how to impact results. Thorough understanding of how to utilize the MS Office suite of tools.  Preferred Qualifications:  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, requirements, and processes for avionics equipment.  • Understanding and compliance to export regulations and ITAR information.  • Able to deal tactfully and confidently with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers at all organizational levels.  • Proven problem solving competence with the ability to drive solutions to assigned tasks utilizing a proactive approach.  All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
