Summary
This is a highly influential role driving trust on LinkedIn’s platform through operational excellence, strategic planning, AI transformation, and execution of LinkedIn's critical cross-functional initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering for Trust Engineering & Operations, and spanning the full organization, you will be a key partner to and force multiplier for the leader and the leadership team: setting the operating rhythm, raising the execution bar, driving the organization's AI transformation, clearing blockers, and owning the strategic initiatives that keep LinkedIn a safe, trusted and professional platform for over a billion members. You will also lead the technical program management team that drives execution of critical initiatives across the organization. You will gain deep exposure to running a large, complex organization, build relationships with senior stakeholders across LinkedIn, and act as a proxy for the VP in key decisions.
Key responsibilities
Build the operating foundation that lets a complex organization move quickly and with confidence. You will design and run the cadence by which the organization plans, prioritizes, and holds itself accountable, turning a fast-moving, high-stakes environment into one that is predictable and well-planned. You will bring clarity to how we set goals, allocate budget and talent, and measure the health of our work. You will elevate engineering and operational rigor so the organization can move fast without compromising reliability and quality, raising the bar on incident response and follow-through.
Drive the organization's AI transformation as a program. AI is changing both the threats we defend against and the way engineering teams build. You will ensure the organization has a clear AI strategy with named owners and measurable milestones across each workstream, both how we apply AI to strengthen our defenses and how we evolve into an AI-native team with AI-native workflows. You will partner with the cross-functional leaders setting direction, hold the program to its commitments, and keep the leadership team ahead of where AI is heading.
Lead strategic initiatives that require partnership across the company. You will personally own a small number of our most important, cross-organizational initiatives, the ones that depend on alignment across many teams and on someone who can carry them from concept to landed impact. You will align stakeholders on a shared direction, pressure-test the plan, work across organizational boundaries, and represent the leader in key decisions.
Lead and develop the technical program management team. You will lead the technical program management team that drives execution across the organization and set a clear standard for the work. You will develop these leaders into strategic partners who bring judgment and direction to hard problems, not just coordination, and grow the team's impact by scaling through others.
Strengthen the organization's communication and culture. You will help the leadership team communicate clearly and consistently, and shape the narratives that align the broader team. You will support the programs and forums that keep a large organization connected and healthy.
