We offer a wide range of domestic and international destinations.  Coral is part of the NRMA Group, a member-owned brand that also operates NRMA Parks & Resorts, SIXT car rental, NRMA Electric Vehicle charging network and various marine businesses. To support the operation, an opportunity exists for a Second Officer to join our fleet with an immediate start.   What You'll Do Stand a bridge watch at sea or at anchor  Draw up passage planning from port to port for each voyage the vessel undertakes  Assist Master as required in creation of mud maps for areas and ensure all control sheets are completed   Ensure all radio checks are performed in accordance with legislation and all other bridge equipment is working in accordance with required specifications   Deliver induction to all new crew onboard the vessel.  OH&S onboard representative, responsible for running a monthly OH&S meeting  In liaison with the Chief Officer ensure that all safety and firefighting equipment is properly maintained and meets survey requirements  Continually liaise with the Expedition Leader and Purser to determine the daily program of activities and requirements  Assist in handling and transportation of all guest’s baggage to and from the vessel and other turnaround duties as required.  What You'll Bring The minimum requirements are:  One of the following certificates of competency  Deck Watchkeeper (Unlimited)  Chief Mate Also, must hold:  Certificate of Safety training (CoST) - AMSA endorsed  Proficiency in Survival Craft  Crowd Control & Crisis Management.  International AMSA Medical  Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.  Desirable requirements:  Passenger ship experience.  What's in it for you Accommodation and meals provided on board  An opportunity to see spectacular places  Career paths in Maritime with internationally recognised experience  Financial assistance with gaining qualifications.  Travel discounts on SIXT car rental, cruises, and accommodation at our award-winning NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts Complimentary myNRMA membership & discounts on fuel, groceries, movie tickets, gym memberships, attractions, restaurants and much more Discounts on a range of NRMA personal insurance products including car, home & travel Rosters will require a commitment of up to 6 weeks duration for domestic voyages and up to 8 weeks for international voyages.   If this is the exciting career opportunity you are seeking, please submit your application.  We’re for inclusion, diversity and representing the members, guests, customers and communities we serve.
