Title: Business Development Manager VII (EBAYJP00013901) Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6 Months contract Job Description: • Partnership Management: General ownership of partnership relationships, including maintaining day-to-day relationships and developing new business. • Analytical Skills: Analyzing potential partners, current partner performance, creating and assessing revenue targets, making budget investment decisions and achieving high ROI goals. • Negotiation Expertise: Negotiate business terms and partnerships agreements with third parties, including drafting terms sheets and supporting eBay’s legal department to execute contracts. • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of various business models and how they apply to a wide breath of diverse technology companies. • Industry Expertise: Up to date knowledge of web/technology industry trends, specifically as they apply to ecommerce. • Degree from a top tier university • 5+ years of professional experience • Results oriented • Experience with working with external partners • Excellent relationship skills • High attention to detail • Outstanding analytical sills, strong Excel skills • Exceptional PowerPoint skills - ability to create succinct, structured, clear exec-level presentations • Familiar with prevalent Internet Marketing methodologies Requirements: • Significant/varied partnership execution experience • Executive presence • Familiarity with large non template deals/Strategic structured thinking/deal expertise • Do not need partner managers, and you do not need sales people • Best people tend to have strategic partnership roles before, or have had a mixture of consulting/investment banking experience • Comfortable with term sheets- reviewing and building • Comfortable with contracts • Analytical- build models • Exec-ready PowerPoint building skills All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
