Title: Network Engineer - Senior Duration: 3+ Months Location : Plano, TX Responsibilities: Build and execute the vision and strategy for the protection environment, including emerging technology, new technical solutions, software and hardware roadmaps, etc. Identify and define system security requirements Collaborate with the various stakeholders, Development and Operational teams ensure the security solutions achieve business and operational objectives. Design and implement security protection solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, web application firewalls, load balancers, encryption, VPNs/PKI/IPSEC, etc. Define endpoint security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs Design, create, and maintain stable and efficient security images/builds. Define and implement security solutions for email and cloud/SAAS protection Identify and define email and Cloud security requirements and implement security solutions to protect the Cloud/SaaS services Subject Matter expert in the security products used within the infrastructure Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks Research, develop and improve Security best practices to include changes in technology as it pertains to environment Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols and provide proper hand-off to our Operational Teams Provide tier-3 support to our Operational Teams as it pertains to endpoint protection and monitoring Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further security enhancement Requirements Proven work experience in network, system and/or security engineering 7+ year experience in building and maintaining security systems Detailed technical knowledge of database, operating system and end point security technology Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, end point protection, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc. Experience with network security and networking technologies Experience with system, security, and network monitoring tools Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure Preferred technologies include: McAfee Nitro and/or QRadar, McAfee suite (including EPO, Vulnerability Manager, Network Security Manager, Disk Encryption, HIPS, WebGateways), NetQos, Solarwinds Thanks & Regards’ ________________________________________________________________________ ___ Vikram Bhalla | Team Recruitment | Mindlance, Inc. | W : 732 504 6695 All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
