As a Recycling Centre Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our recycling depot. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Supervise and lead a small team providing ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support
Ensure maximum operational uptime and processing volumes through efficient management of operational team
Responsible for all depot WHS governance, practices and improvements
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Work on the ground with team when work volume demands are high
Maintain a professional and clean work environment staff and customers
Troubleshoot with Technician on RVM issues
Compliance with TOMRA SAFE Standards and Guidelines
The successful candidate will be someone who can contribute to the success of the business whilst seeking ongoing personal and professional development.
A minimum of 1-4 years’ experience in a similar role
Tertiary qualification in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred)
Excellent computer skills
Ability to motivate and support employees through ongoing professional development
Customer focussed and experienced with handling customer complaints
Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
A strong drive for personal achievement and success
Prepared to undergo mandatory Police Check and a Pre-employment Medical assessment to assess capability to perform the role requirements safely.
