Green Oaks Physical Therapy (GOPT) has provided exceptional outpatient orthopedic care in the DFW metroplex for twenty-five years! Founded by Physical Therapists in 2000, GOPT now has 17 locations that allow us to serve the people in our communities with compassionate and competent care. We have an immediate need for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant. Pay: $26-32/hour depending on experience PLUS productivity bonus, which can add up to $6.87/hr ON TOP of your base rate!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Waxahachie! As a vital member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and support to patients on their journey to recovery.
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and evaluating patient progress
Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home programs
Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and colleagues
Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current Texas state license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
Proficiency in exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
Experience in sports rehabilitation preferred
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Passion for physical therapy and genuine commitment to patient care
Outgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitude
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plans
Goal-oriented mindset with a determination to achieve professional objectives
Empathetic approach to patient care and ability to motivate others
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practices
