We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Plano, TX. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence. You will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where your clinical expertise, empathy, and commitment to excellence are valued and supported.
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and physician recommendations
Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to address patient impairments and functional limitations
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to promote active participation in recovery
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes with the healthcare team
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and organizational policies
Demonstrate professional growth through continued learning and staying current with best practices in physical therapy
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Program
Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Professional liability insurance
Strong clinical assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning skills
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and documentation software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to educate and motivate patients
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for patient care delivery
Problem-solving and analytical abilities to adapt treatment approaches based on patient response
Preferred: Prior experience in outpatient, home health, or clinical physical therapy settings
Preferred: Experience with diverse patient populations and various diagnoses
