Finance Business Partner – Investment Finance

About the Role
We are Maersk, and we are looking for a Finance Business Partner – Investment Finance to join our North America Finance team. You will play a key role in supporting investment decision-making across our Logistics & Services (L&S) portfolio, partnering closely with Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams. In this role, you will develop, analyze, and present investment business cases that shape strategic decisions across the region. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact CAPEX initiatives—ranging from warehouse investments to automation and logistics infrastructure—while building strong exposure to senior leadership and global governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
Develop structured investment memos and financial models to support capital allocation decisions across North America
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy of financial data
Manage end-to-end investment proposal processes, ensuring adherence to governance standards and submission timelines
Review pricing inputs, forecasts, and financial returns, proactively identifying risks or inconsistencies
Track and monitor performance of approved investments, ensuring alignment with expected outcomes
Consolidate and address feedback from stakeholders across multiple review cycles
Maintain clear documentation and ensure all proposals meet internal quality and compliance standards
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who bring strong analytical thinking and a collaborative mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in corporate finance, FP&A, investment analysis, or similar roles
Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret and adapt complex Excel-based models
Solid understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS and lease accounting concepts
Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, structured business case narratives for senior stakeholders
High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
