Job Description As a Business Operations Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Healthy Blue Care Together Compliance Program. You’ll help keep critical operations running smoothly by managing data, tracking program performance, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and contractual requirements specific to North Carolina Medicaid. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in healthcare compliance, regulatory oversight, and process improvement. Provide department, divisional and/or segment focused business and operational support to include operational planning, workforce planning, reporting, data and/or budget analysis, internal/external marketing, and special projects. What You’ll Do Compliance Program Support Assist in supporting the ongoing maintenance of the Compliance Program, ensuring alignment with regulatory and contractual requirements Maintain documentation supporting compliance program activities, including policies, procedures, and program records Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance-related processes Assist with change management work to support business and process improvements and overall departmental/divisional effectiveness Project Coordination Handle special projects for the department/division/segment as assigned. Possible duties could include: Aid in the review and evaluation of best or next practice opportunities for potential adoption Track internal and external audits, monitoring activities, and regulatory reviews Maintain logs of compliance issues, findings, and corrective action plans (CAPs) Monitor progress of CAPs and follow up with business owners to support timely resolution Data Analysis/Reporting Consolidate and standardize data analysis and reporting for relevant business operations. Track goal progress, including data collection and analysis of key performance metrics (KPIs) Maintain a centralized repository of regulatory guidance and compliance requirements Business Partnerships Partner with business units, legal, and operational teams to gather compliance-related information Assist with preparation for external meetings, regulatory engagements, and presentations Aid in management of vendor relationships as required by business operations’ needs. What You Have Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 0-2 years of experience in related field. In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field. Salary Range At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed.
