OVERVIEW OF POSITION / DEPARTMENT   The   Youth Violence Program Administrator , under the direction of the Intervention Programs Division Manager, oversees the youth violence prevention program to provide services to juveniles who are at-risk, or high-risk, and their families. They will coordinate with multiple community-based organizations, governmental agencies, and law enforcement agencies in these efforts.    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES    Plan, develop, implement, document, and manage strategies, goals, policies, procedures, and performance measures for the youth violence prevention program.    Track and report progress on goals and performance   measures and   make recommendations for changes or improvements to achieve desired outcomes.   Oversee daily operations of the youth violence prevention program.   Manage the referral process for internal and external stakeholders to make referrals to the Youth Violence Prevention Program.   Collaborate with city departments, community mental health agencies, community-based organizations, and school districts to ensure coordination among juvenile system agencies and the youth violence prevention program   regarding   at-risk juveniles.   Build and   maintain   relationships with community members, school administrators, and partnering agencies. Attend various meetings with each group.   In conjunction with the Intervention Programs Division Manager, oversee the financial and accounting operations of the Youth Violence Prevention Program. Ensure   timely   processing of accounts payables and provide   accurate   and   timely   financial reports on a regular basis and upon request.   Oversee grant management, monitoring, and compliance for youth violence funding.   Serve as the Support & Outreach Working Group Lead for Aurora SAVE, the City’s group violence intervention program.   Oversee daily operations of and coordinate the Aurora SAVE Support & Outreach Working Group. Provide weekly reports   for   the Aurora SAVE team on actions and progress.   Act as the escalation point for tough issues and clients, while mentoring and supporting the Support & Outreach team.   Build and   maintain   relationships with community members, school administrators, and partnering agencies, and attend various meetings with each group.   Attend department meetings, division meetings, and other meetings as   required   or assigned.   Participate in interdepartmental meetings and collaborate with the Community Engagement Division as needed for presentations to outside groups.   Perform other related duties as assigned.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING CONDITIONS An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that   demonstrates   the required   knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.   Education:     Bachelor's degree in Public Administration , Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, or   a directly related   field   Experience:   Two years of experience in youth violence prevention and/or intervention.   Two years of experience in case management/resource navigation.   Two years of experience in the development, implementation, and administration of programs.    Knowledge:   Structure, purpose, and administration of government and non-profit grant programs   Data analysis and visualization   Policy development   Data management   Grant   & budget   management   Program management and implementation   Skills:   Public speaking   Research, writing, and strong interpersonal skills and data analysis skills   Effective leadership and   trainings   Facilitation and presentations   Strong collaboration and partnerships with multiple partners and stakeholders   Alignment with strategic plan    Skill in the use of personal computers including word processing applications   Interviewing techniques   sufficient   to be able to interview clients to obtain a variety of information   Independently adapting, interpreting, and applying written guidelines,   precedents   and standardized work practices to a variety of unprecedented and problematic situations   Examining information for completeness,   accuracy   and compliance   Abilities:   Establish and   maintain   effective working relationships with various groups, including, but not limited to, City departments, com
