The Regional Director of Stores is a critical executive leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and a world-class customer experience across a designated geographic region. This role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of stores and leading a team of District Leaders to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in retail operations, talent development, and high-level P&L management.   This position is a People Leader role This position based in Chicago, IL and covers the entire Central Region A day in the life as a Regional Director... Develop and execute regional business strategies that align with corporate objectives to maximize market share and profitability. Analyze regional performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Foster a culture of high performance and accountability, ensuring all stores consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and operational procedures across all locations. Manage the regional budget, including labor costs, shrink prevention, and capital expenditures, to ensure optimal financial health. Oversee new store openings, renovations, and closures within the region, coordinating with real estate and construction teams. Lead, mentor, and coach District Leaders to build a strong pipeline of future leaders. Implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to ensure the region is staffed with top-tier retail talent. Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth. Champion the brand's customer service philosophy, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for every guest. What you’ll bring to the table… Proven experience managing a regional P&L exceeding $250M+ in annual revenue. Demonstrated success in leading large-scale teams through organizational change and market expansion. Ability to formulate business strategies and translate vision into actional plans for the region.  Proficiency in interpreting complex data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.  Expertise in identifying talent, mentoring leaders, and building robust succession plans across multiple locations.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. We’d love to hear from you if you have… Minimum of 8–10 years of multi-unit leadership experience in a high-volume retail environment. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Strong proficiency in retail technology, data analytics tools, and inventory management systems. Ability to travel up to 70% within the assigned region.
