What you’ll achieve
As an EHR Solutions Architect you will be part of our high performing ANZ architecture practice, utilising your skills in the architecture, design, and enhancement of our market leading Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution designed specifically for hospital and healthcare environments.
This role is suitable for a health industry experienced Solution Architect who is looking for the opportunity to apply their knowledge, experience and skills to architect and deliver high quality solutions to customers, improve customer and patient outcomes, and contribute to our team of diverse and passionate professionals. You will be perceived as a thought leader in your field and play a crucial role in ensuring that different software components work together securely, efficiently and effectively to achieve business objectives particularly in a Managed Services setting.
You will lead the digital transformation agenda and solutioning activity for our largest and most complex deals to deliver a step change in performance across patient experience, operational efficiency and clinical effectiveness. You will be adept at defining “compound” solutions and the associated transformation steps that combine the power of Dedalus and partner capabilities in a way that maximizes client and patient value, particularly as products from Dedalus’ global portfolio are introduced into ANZ region.
The primary focus is to ensure all components align to deliver a safe, robust and reliable product to our customers.
Working with an extended highly skilled cross-functional team, you will be making a profound impact on the healthcare delivery provided by our valued customers.
As the EHR Solution Architect , you will Architect integrated solutions across potentially hybrid hosting environments that meet business objectives and align with Dedalus’ architectural standards, principles and best practices including application, data, integration, technology, and security domains.
This includes defining conceptual, logical and physical architectures through engagement with appropriate SMEs, producing Solution Architecture documentation to support downstream project activities.
You will:
Architect solutions aligned to business, portfolio and product roadmaps and overarching industry and internal policies and practices. Balance competing stakeholder objectives, technical best practice, and align to capabilities of delivery and support teams in the respective solution domains.
Utilise knowledge of cloud platform services (preferably AWS) to produce solution architectures for cloud native and hybrid landscapes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, other solution architects, and business stakeholders. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure solution architectures meet realistic, deliverable and supportable objectives, within funding and delivery constraints.
Ensure architectures comply with established architecture governance processes, policies and standards used within Dedalus both at a global and regional level.
Work with business, sales, product, and technical engineering stakeholders to influence and specify solutions ranging from customer project engagements to product enhancement and portfolio capability uplift.
Liaise and collaborate with customer stakeholders including but not limited to; Project Managers, Solution Architects, and technical team members.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed: Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information and systems management, or a business discipline, or equivalent industry experience.Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, complemented by extensive industry experience in software and technology environments.
Over 15 years of experience in the software industry, including more than 3 years working within healthcare environments and supporting complex healthcare technology ecosystems.
More than 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect, designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions across diverse platforms and business domains.
Strong cloud architecture expertise with 5+ years of experience designing and supporting AWS and Azure-based solutions within Managed Services environments.
Extensive healthcare integration and data architecture experience, including HL7, FHIR, APIs, ESB technologies, and interoperability between enterprise applications.
Proven expertise in applying enterprise architecture frameworks and modelling methodologies, including TOGAF, UML, and ArchiMate, to develop scalable and sustainable solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead architecture workshops, engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels, and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, combined with deep healthcare domain knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable Requirements
Strong technical expertise across modern infrastructure and application platforms, including Citrix virtualisation technologies, containerisation too
