Summary The Senior Real Estate Analyst is responsible for real estate management efforts in support of the Development team related to the development, construction and operation of Solar, Wind and Battery Storage projects.  Responsibilities include coordinating with land agents, preferred title insurance and survey vendors, supporting financing efforts, tracking and pursuing curative documents, editing and reviewing documents, as well as interfacing with Legal, Finance, Engineering, Environmental and other departments when necessary. This position is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. C andidates located in or willing to relocate to the area are preferred. Responsibilities Must be familiar with public land records and real estate research Reviewing title and resolving curative issues Managing vendors in support of real estate acquisition, title, survey and recording of documents Coordinating with title companies to obtain title commitments  Facilitating efficient title closing processes to align with project timelines Collaborating with developers, project managers, engineers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to provide real estate expertise throughout various phases of renewable energy projects Analyzing real property agreements, title reports, surveys, and land rights for utility-scale renewable energy projects and identify potential risks or encumbrances that could impact development Maintaining and improving processes and procedures associated with all real estate management activities Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field In addition to a bachelors degree, three (3) years or more of related experience   In Lieu of a bachelors degree, HS/GED AND seven (8) years or more of related experience Desired Qualifications Five (5) years or more of related work experience, preferably in renewable energy or energy real estate Survey and land engineering knowledge, including GIS systems and mapping tools Knowledge of renewable energy development, operations and construction Experience using Google Earth, AcreValue and similar land analysis platforms Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in order to accomplish desired objectives  Proficiency in MS Office and other software tools Knowledge of utility, pipeline and other infrastructure including generation and transmission systems Environmental awareness to understand basics of due diligence and the public requirements for projects Land agent experience Experience working with real estate internal and external legal counsel on complex transactions Proficiency in mineral title analysis and curative work Working knowledge of title requirements for renewable energy project financing including tax equity and debt financing Working knowledge of solar, wind and energy storage leases and easements Demonstrated advance problem-solving skills with minimal supervision Real estate professional designation (e.g., IRWA and/or active real estate license) Working Conditions This role is based in Charlotte, NC.
