T he   ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills,   exhibit   excellent attention to   detail   and exemplify   DPR’s four core values—integrity, uniqueness, enjoyment and ever forward.   As part of the People Practices team, this   person   reports to the People Practices Business Partner   and   is a   critical role   that   One primary area of responsibility will be providing   l eadership   a dministrative   s upport   which requires   a high-level of trust,   discretion, and implied confidentiality .   Responsibilities include   assess ing , prioritiz ing , and manag ing   support needs to maximize effectiveness and   increase   capacity for   the   DPR Dallas   Business Unit Leadership   T eam   (BULT) .   Another primary focus   of this position is   managing   the   planning and execution of   events   and engagement activities   for the business unit   and project sites   to   provide meaningful experiences for all Dallas employees .     Primary Responsibilities :   Administrative   Leadership   Support    Provide administrative support to the   Business Unit Leadership Team (BULT) for the Dallas Operation .   Assess and   i dentify   opportunities to remove administrative   and   process-oriented   tasks   from the tea m and   develop new tools or processes to   help support and drive efficiencies .   Actively   anticipate   needs and proactively   prepare for various meetings   and   activitie s;   c oordinate appointment   logistics ,   meeting spaces , prepare   materials and presentations in support of meetings   and/or presentations .   Facilitate professional and consistent communication   with all necessary teams, both internal   and   externa l , including   business - unit wide employee   information .   Manage and   maintain   complex calendars   across the team   and   prioritize meeting requests .     Create and   maintain   organized meeting minutes , assign and follow up on action items, and communicate   to   the team.   Monitor program   and project status , budgets, and timetables.     Prepare and   processes   expense reports ,   coordinate travel arrangements,   and itineraries.   Perform ad hoc duties as requested.   E vent   Management   Partner with   People   Practices   team   and the BULT to   plan   and oversee the execution of annual, quarterly, and on-going events that   drive engagement   and align with the DPR culture that fosters   a sense of   belonging .   Serve as the primary point of contact   for Dallas events   and activities   overseeing    event   plan ning ,   coordinat ion and   the execution   of   a variety of events including employee meetings   (on and off-site) , leadership retreats, recognition programs,   training programs,   celebrations, community involvement activities, and business unit gatherings   with   strong   support and assistance   from the   Office Coordinator .   Proactively develop annual / quarterly / monthly event schedule , develop and   manage detailed event plans, timelines, budgets,   and   communications   including the creation / distribution   of   materials   to effectively communicate and promote.    Qualifications:   5+   years   experience   supporting senior leaders .     2+   years experience   planning and coordinating office events .     Professional written and verbal communication   with   ability   to   .   Proficient with Microsoft Office (OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams,   etc )   Intermediate to   advanced   skills in PowerPoint , and Canva.    Exceptional attention to detail   and strong   organizational and time management skills.   Ability to   problem solve , ask questions , identify   issues.   Ability to work independently and take ownership of   role   and responsibiliti es .   Ability to remain flexible in the face of changing deadlines   and priorities and   logistical challenges .    Ability to   maintain   discretion and strict confidentiality.   Ability to   anticipate   needs and show   a high level   of initiative.   Experience working in an A/E/C   industry   a plus.   Must be able to travel by car to off-site company events and retreat locations as needed.   Travel :   10%   DPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
