Description Huntington’s  Vice President ,   Securitized Products Capital   Markets is a mid-career professional   responsible for supporting the origination and execution of capital markets securitization transactions (Public, 144a and 4(a)(2)).   Positioned between senior coverage officers and junior team members, this role plays a critical part in driving transaction success and supporting strategic initiatives across the desk.    O ur   new colleague   will work closely with senior leaders and junior talent to manage the full lifecycle of transactions—from pitch development and investor engagement to execution and closing. The role requires strong technical   expertise , market awareness, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to   operate   independently while contributing to team-wide goals.   Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and support execution of active Bookrunner roles, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. Prepare marketing materials, coordinate investor meetings, and manage rating agency processes. Assist in structuring and closing capital markets securitization transactions (Public, 144a (Rule 144A) and 4(a)(2) (Section 4(a)(2))). Participate in client and investor meetings, presenting materials and contributing to strategic discussions. Support origination efforts through idea generation, market reads, and pitch development. Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and corporate clients. Manage and mentor junior colleagues throughout the transaction process. Serve as a key liaison between senior bankers and junior staff, ensuring seamless execution and communication. Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members. Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and investor sentiment. Assist in preparing management reports on business performance and market developments. Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and databases to track deal pipelines and client interactions. Gain hands-on experience across a broad range of industries and capital needs. Develop corporate finance and valuation skills relevant to capital raising and market execution. Demonstrate ownership of work products and a commitment to continuous improvement. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Securitization FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 79, 63 Located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC Preferred Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of securitization, including one or more of: ABS (Asset-Backed Securities) (equipment, railcar, aviation, WBS (Whole Business Securitization), digital infrastructure, CLNs (Credit-Linked Notes)), RMBS (Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities) (Non-QM (Non-Qualified Mortgage), HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit)/HEL (Home Equity Loan)/HEI (Home Equity Investment), investor mortgages, SFR (Single-Family Rental), RTL (Residential Transition Loan)), CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations) (middle-market) Experience working with Bloomberg, Intex, CAS (Collateral Analysis Software) (or other collateral analytics software); VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)/other programming exposure a plus Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels High attention to detail and analytical thinking Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Client-centric mindset with a focus on relationship building High level of professional integrity and adaptability to change Strong team player with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach #LI-ME1 #LI-Onsite ​ Exempt Status: (Yes   = not eligible for overtime pay) ( No   = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
