Job Overview Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Outpatient CDI Physician Education Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving healthcare transformation through innovative solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to client success while making a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry. Responsibilities Establish review methodologies, provider education strategies, and success metrics. Work closely with physicians on change management initiatives. Distinguish compliant provider education from leading documentation and partner with legal and compliance stakeholders. Analyze RAF trends, recapture rates, and provider-level variation. Interpret audit findings and translate data into action plans. Qualifications Education and Experience Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience Requirement: 5-7+ years in CDI, coding, or risk adjustment, 1-3+ years specifically in outpatient or ambulatory CDI Certifications/Licenses: Licensed clinical background (i.e., RHIA/RHIT, RN, MD/DO, NP, or PA), CCDS-O (Outpatient) preferred credential, CCDS, CDIP, or CRC accepted with strong outpatient experience . Skills and Competencies Experience designing and scaling outpatient CDI programs. Demonstrate understanding of outpatient CDI workflows, including risk adjustment, chronic condition capture, and annual wellness visits. Understanding of CMS risk adjustment rules and audit defensibility, ability to distinguish complaint provider education from leading documentation Experience with ambulatory EHRs (Epic preferred). Additional Information Travel: Open to travel. At Impact Advisors, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of $120,000-$220,000. For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus.
