Job Description Summary
This position requires unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner, keeping the receiving area clean and free from debris. Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Guide s trucks into unloading positions.
Operates forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area.
Monitor s evenflow levels.
Flume s raw product into evenflows by using the HMI program.
Complete s CL’s, CIL’s, and FSIL’s for your respective work area.
Enter s in defects found in your respective work area.
Unloads trucks, take samples and operate receiving equipment.
Accurately completes forms as required .
Accurately collects and labels raw product samples.
Completes da ily sanitation duties.
Maintain s a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes.
Inspect s raw product for foreign material.
Monitor s waste pit water level , waste room hopper levels , and water usage in Receiving.
Performs other duties as assigned
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required . If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.
Skills and Experience:
Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. ( Requirement may vary by location).
Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility .
Ability to perform basic math functions, required .
Physical Environment/Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently .
Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature
Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies
Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures .
Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment .
Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties . Ability to operate work related equipment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation
May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products
Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis
