We are   seeking   an experienced and strategic   Lead, People Sol utio ns   (Workday Technical Lead) to serve as the technical owner and architect of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Workday platform and People Technology ecosystem.   This role   is responsible for   defining and executing the technical strategy, architecture, governance, security model, integration framework, and operational support model across Workday and related HR technologies. The   Lea d   will act as the organization’s primary subject matter expert and technical authority for Workday Security, Integrations, Data Architecture, and Platform Optimization.   The ideal candidate combines deep Workday technical   expertise   with strong   lea d ership, stakeholder management, and enterprise architecture experience. This individual will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and external service providers to ensure the People Technology landscape   remains   scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business   objectives .   Key Responsibilities     Platform Ownership & Operational Excellence   Own the overall technical health, stability, performance, and scalability of the Workday platform   including   governance of Workday security   & integrations   architecture   Establish and   maintain   operational support processes, SLAs, monitoring standards, and incident management procedures.   Lea d   root cause analysis and remediation efforts for critical production issues and integration failures.   Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.   Manage technical debt and platform optimization opportunities across the People Technology landscape.   Ensure compliance with internal audit, SOX, GDPR, data privacy, and enterprise security standards ; c onduct periodic security audits   &   risk assessments .   Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.   Provide technical oversight and governance for AMS teams, including developers, integration resources, and support personnel   Enterprise People Technology   Architecture    Define and   maintain   the People Technology architecture roadmap aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.   Evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.   Partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to align People Technology strategies with broader enterprise technology standards.   Lea d   architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution governance activities.   Assess technical impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities across   People   technology platforms.   Maintain architecture diagrams, technical standards, integration inventories, and data flow documentation.   Experience & Qualifications     10+ years of   enterprise technology   experience , including   7+ years of   hands-on   Workday technical   roles . Strong   expertise   in :   Workday Security   Workday Integrations   ( Workday Studio , EIB, Connectors, PECI/PICOF, APIs)   Workday Architecture   Strong understanding of Workday business processes and data architecture.   Experience supporting enterprise   people   ecosystems and third-party vendor integrations.   Knowledge of security governance, audit controls, and compliance frameworks.   Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.   Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.   Preferred Q ualifications     Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, HRIS, or related field   Workday certifications in Integration, Security, HCM, or related areas.   Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and HR digital transformation initiatives.   Experience with other HR/People Technologies like   lea rning platforms (Cornerstone etc.), recruiting platforms (Phenom, Greenhouse etc.), survey platforms (Qualtrics,   Perceptyx   etc.),   Skills platforms, Case Management   Platforms ( ServiceNow etc.) , Time & Attendance platforms (UKG, Infor)   Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.   Experience integrating Workday with identity management, payroll, benefits, finance, and analytics platforms.   Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps   & ITSM   practices.   Experience working in global or multi-region HR environments .   The anticipated base salary for this position is $142,400 to $178,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
