MA- Phlebotomist - Northern Star

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a   Washington State credentialed MA- Phleb otomist   for our  Northern Star   location. In this role, you will serve as a professional representative of the laboratory by providing excellent customer service and skilled venipuncture collection. This position works collaboratively with healthcare team members to support positive outcomes for patients and the organization through   phleb otomy services, specimen collection and handling, and   accurate   use of laboratory information systems.   A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential.   Location:   Northern Star   ( 14201 NE 20th Ave Ste B200, Vancouver, WA 98686 )   Schedule:   Monday-Friday   8 :30AM- 5 :30PM, Rotating Saturdays 7:30AM-12:00PM   Hiring   r ange   starts at   $22.25–$27.45 per hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.   Diffe re ntials:   Saturday $2.56/ hr   Re qui re ments:   High School diploma or equivalent.   Cur re nt Washington State   Medi cal   A ssistant- Ph leb otomist   c re d ential   re qui re d or ability to obtain within   90 days   of hi re .   Cur re nt American Heart Association Health Ca re   Provider BLS CPR certification   re qui re d .   Minimum   of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a   clinic al lab setting is p re fer re d.   Ability to calm patients and work under st re ssful conditions.   Vancouver   Clinic   provides ca re   across a wide range of   medi cal   decisions.  This includes ca re   and opinions on vaccinations,   re productive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming t re atment.  The ability to work, with or without   re asonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues   seeking   or considering ca re   in all a re as is an essential function of all positions at the   Clinic .   Pay Range: $21.81 - $30.53 The above information is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work required in this position.
