The position will   be respo nsible for   fabrica tion, electrical, preventive maintenance, and other maintenance tasks that are necessary to keep each facility running at   optimal   capacit y   and eff iciency. This position will be the main point of contact for operations staff to solve problems with equipment and building issues .       **THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION** A Sample of What   You’ll   Do in   t his Role:   Oversee and conduct all maintenance tasks   and w ork with management to coordinate major equipment   repair .   Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to meet mechanical needs and ensure compliance with quality standards .   Handle fabrication duties for various small projects within each facility .   Respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations and provide contractor oversite when needed to provide a solution .   Oversee and manage equipment list and assess new equipment for preventative maintenance needs and failure points .   R eport mechanical and electrical problems to management, up to and including stopping   a production   line .   Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Guidelines,   FDA   and OSHA guidelines, as well as Federal and State laws governing the workplace.   What You Bring to   t he Role:   2 +   years of maintenance experience in   a   manufacturing   environment   Ability to work off-hours when needed, including carrying an on-call phone and answering when called   Willingness to occasionally work extended shifts to get breakdowns and special projects completed   General understanding of Preventive Maintenance programs and how to implement these in a manufacturing facility   Ability to evaluate mechanical issues and implement solutions   Ability to lift 55 lbs.   Ability to climb ladders and stairs as well as work from heights   – no fear of heights   Ability to work in narrow and confined spaces   – n o claustrophobia   Welding   and/or   electrical certifications   are preferred   Mechanical knowledge of processing equipment such as mixers, screw conveyors, hammer mills, grain legs   is preferred   Associate or Technical degree in a pertinent field   What Makes You a Great Fit:   You are enthusiastic and enjoy   creating a positive work environment   You have   a high level   of integrity   and   will   represent   the Company well   You are a t eam player who excels at building relationships across departments   You   hav e   s trong communication   skills to connect effectively with operations staff   Compensation and Benefits:    The base compensation for this position ranges from $26.01 to $34.67 per hour.
