At DDN, you will be positioned at the intersection of: - AI infrastructure - High Performance Computing (HPC) - Army modernization - Cloud and data center transformation - Mission-critical defense technology If you want to sell strategic infrastructure that supports some of the most demanding defense missions in the world, this is that opportunity. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Own and grow a portfolio of U.S. Army enterprise accounts within your assigned territory - Create and convert net-new business opportunities across Army organizations and supporting defense ecosystems - Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through close - Build trusted relationships with Army leadership, program offices, technical stakeholders, acquisition organizations, and industry partners - Partner closely with solution architects and technical teams to develop AI, HPC, storage, and data infrastructure solutions aligned to mission requirements - Collaborate with channel partners, OEMs, systems integrators, and defense contractors to drive strategic opportunities - Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and account strategy across long federal sales cycles WHAT GREAT LOOKS LIKE You are likely a strong fit if you bring: - 7–10 years of enterprise technology sales experience selling infrastructure, storage, compute, networking, cloud, AI, or data center solutions - A successful track record selling into the U.S. Army or broader Department of Defense - Experience building executive relationships with government decision makers, program leadership, and technical organizations - Demonstrated success driving net-new business, territory expansion, and strategic account growth - Strong communication, executive presentation, negotiation, and forecasting discipline - The ability to navigate complex acquisition environments and multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles PREFERRED BACKGROUND - Experience selling AI infrastructure, HPC, storage, cloud, or data center solutions - Experience supporting Army modernization initiatives and defense technology programs - Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition processes and partner ecosystems - 7–10 years of enterprise sales experience - Based in or near one of these preferred markets: Washington, DC; Northern Virginia; Huntsville, AL; Tampa; Colorado Springs; San Antonio; Raleigh; or other major defense technology hubs WHO WILL LOVE THIS ROLE - Enterprise sellers who enjoy owning strategic Army accounts and developing long-term customer relationships - Hunters who excel at identifying new opportunities and navigating complex defense organizations - Sales professionals who can translate advanced technology into mission value - Individuals who thrive in high-impact, technically sophisticated enterprise sales environments WHO SHOULD PROBABLY NOT APPLY - Candidates whose experience is primarily SMB or mid-market sales - Professionals focused primarily on customer success, alliances, or sales engineering rather than quota-carrying enterprise sales - Sellers who prefer highly transactional, short-cycle opportunities - Leaders who are no longer interested in personally owning strategic enterprise opportunities
