Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing (What You’ll Learn)
In this role, you’ll develop practical skills by:
Reviewing and entering payroll data (hours, pay, deductions, benefits)
Learning how payroll systems work in a multi-company environment
Identifying and fixing discrepancies to ensure accurate pay
Maintaining employee payroll records and documentation
Supporting payroll reporting and compliance processes
Assisting with special payroll runs and adjustments
Responding to employee questions and building professional communication skills
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to candidates starting or pivoting into accounting/payroll roles.
You could be a great fit if you have:
A High School Diploma or GED
~2 years of experience OR exposure in:
Accounting
Bookkeeping
Payroll
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Finance or HR support roles
Basic to intermediate Excel skills (you’ll use it regularly)
Successfully pass background and drug screenings
Bonus If You Have
Coursework in accounting, finance, or business
Internship or entry-level experience working with financial data
Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
