After Hours Customer Support Specialist

We strive to be the BEST at everything we do.  Essential Functions Address any dispatch related issues that come up after hours. Field calls from drivers related to breakdowns, accidents, and other equipment related issues. Work with terminals to assigns resources to meet customer requirements under company and regulatory agency mandates. Enters complete and accurate data about the customer’s orders into the computer system. Communicates with customers, employees, and other terminal locations to ensure customer’s requirements are met while getting the most efficient use of available resources. Handles emergency and non-emergency situations. Checks drivers’ hours of service and maintenance condition reports of selected equipment.  Issuance ofEFS to address repairs and breakdowns. Provide drivers with 24/7/365 access to live assistance when needed. Other duties as assigned.  Requirements   Qualifications/Requirements Candidates must have knowledge of DOT regulations, safety polices, and other Regulatory bodies having jurisdiction over motor carriers.  Experience with Outlook (E-mail) and AS400 is desired. Trucking Industry background a must. Clear written and verbal communications Work well in a team environment. Must maintain confidential information. Ability to analyze and resolve situations and problems. Must have a talent to handle multiple priorities and projects. Better than average skills working with computer programs. Job Requirements  High school diploma or GED Trucking/tank truck or Logistics experience  Preferred qualifications· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree  Work Environment The position typically operates in a standard office environment.   This   position   routinely uses   office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, file cabinets, and fax machines .   Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance 401(k) Plan + Company Match Paid Time Off Company Paid Holidays Salary Range: Disclaimer:  The salary range for this position is $57,500 to $72,000 annually. This range is based on market data and internal equity. The final offer will be determined by various factors, including the candidates experience, education, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
