Position Responsibilities: Team Leadership:  Leads individual contributors and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of RF, EO, and Core Avionics on the platform. Team Execution; Drive programmatic execution for RF, EO, and Core Avionics portfolio. Develop, track and communicate metrics to quantify technical and business performance, organize all EVM reporting and analysis. Customer Engagement:  Interface daily with customers and Boeing program office teams. Supplier Execution: Provides Technical Management of Supplier Execution Safety Oversight:  Ensure personnel and product safety related to design, production, and operation of integrated capabilities. Technical Oversight & Engineering Excellence:  Establish a culture of proactive technical oversight and risk management while ensuring systems engineering, technical integrity, and mission assurance for RF, EO, and Core Avionics systems. Process Improvement:  Implement and enforce engineering functional excellence in people, processes, tools, and practices, while continuously assessing and updating engineering processes for improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work with functional counterparts to ensure process inputs and outputs meet requirements. Compliance:  Ensure engineering efforts are executed in compliance with established requirements and plans. Mentorship & Development:  Develop managers’ and employees’ skills through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations Resource Planning:  Plan and coordinate allocation of resources to meet program goals, applicable. Appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) A final Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required. This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry  10 years’ related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership experience Currently a Manager or have previously held a manager position Minimum 3 years of experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM) Minimum 3 years of technical experience in mission systems development and integration Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Master’s degree or higher Experience supporting a Proprietary Program Experience working with and leading Mission Systems Suppliers Experience across multiple phases of the product life-cycle Experience with Mission Systems Open Architecture Standards Experience working in Cameo, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools Demonstrated experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (direct reports, peers, executive leaders, and customers) Proven track record of execution in a development environment Final U.S. top secret clearance preferred Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Typical Education/Experience:  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
