Assistant Biologist

Wood Rodgers’ Environmental Department is seeking an Assistant Biologist / Environmental Planner to join the Wood Rodgers team.    Wood Rodgers provides forward-thinking environmental and engineering solutions for a diverse range of public and private projects. Our expertise spans local, state, and federally funded initiatives, with a core focus on transportation and water resources. We specialize in designing and implementing solutions for roadways, bridges, highways, interchanges, bicycle and pedestrian pathways, flood control systems, stormwater management, levees, pump stations, and various private development projects. Join us in developing innovative strategies to address environmental challenges on impactful projects within your community, across the region, and throughout California.    The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working in a similar role, helping to complete biological field surveys, prepare written documentation of findings; and/or provide environmental support during construction.   This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.
