Assistant Nurse Manager

Job Details Responsibilities:  Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth Be responsible for the scheduling of the day shift Handle patient relations issues Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered and applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions Coordinate patient care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the health care team. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and members of the health care team about the patient's plan of care Qualifications: BSN required, Master's Degree preferred Related Certification preferred (ex: CNAMB, CGRN, CNOR, CNML) Minimally one year related clinical experience required Management experience preferred RN Licensed professional nurse in the State of New York ACLS and BLS certified from the American Heart Association Competent in data collection and analysis and the application of statistical tools Posted Salary Range USD $58.84 - USD $80.70 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
