Compensation range: $22.62 - $24.72 per hour
The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.

Position Summary
Location: San Jose, CA (on-site)
Hours: Monday - Friday, Early Day Shift 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
The Asset Storage Tracking Specialist will receive product into Hedberg inventory and assist with other administrative functions in Warehouse Operations. Coordinates timely and accurate processing of inventory movement and maintains data integrity using the host computer system.
Responsibilities:
Matches receiving paperwork (packing lists, bills of lading, invoices) to orders; audits paperwork for accuracy and completeness and receives product into inventory. Utilizes Hedberg software for entry, retrieval, and correction of product information
Performs and reconciles cycle counts or periodic inventories in assigned areas. Assists Warehouse personnel in maintaining integrity/accuracy of product inventory, including current locations and status. Assists Delivery and Installation personnel in locating product and documenting movement of product into and out of inventory and researches discrepancies and inventory adjustments.
Audits all transactions made by Warehouse Team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information entered.
Monitors urgent requests and maintains tracking/communication with furniture project management.
Serves as a point of contact for problem resolution and communicating information on inventory questions.
Provides inventory reports to sales teams and external customers. Monitors pre-sold inventory over 60 days report.
Assists with documenting performance data, monitoring reports, reconciling productivity data with work hours and in calculation of production and quality metrics. Assists supervisors in monitoring daily reports.
Schedules and coordinates incoming product shipments from vendors.
Coordinates inventory pull requests for customers and fulfills client ticket requests as needed.
Maintains a proactive working relationship with managers, supervisors, leaders, and personnel within Operations and with internal customers in other departments.
Advise supervisors of problems, questions, or training needs in the department.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2+ years previous experience in warehouse and/or inventory control operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AA or BA degree is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be assertive, flexible, and have a strong sense of urgency.
Requires strong organizational skills and self-motivation
Must be able to effectively solve problems and make decisions independently
Knowledge of Google Office systems with ability to learn internal system
Knowledge of basic warehouse functions helpful
Physical Requirements
Seeing, hearing, color perception, clear speech
Ability to move distances within the office and warehouse
If completing job tasks in the warehouse, must be able to consistently lift 50 to 75 pounds
Complex reading and writing
Ability to work mathematical calculations for reporting and keeping statistics
Working Environment
Regularly works alone and with others in person, over the phone and via email. Generally works in an office environment around moderate noise. Has daily interaction in the warehouse around loud noises and changing temperatures.
