The Banking Specialist in a private banking environment is a dedicated product and service expert responsible for delivering tailored financial solutions to high-net-worth clients. This role involves direct engagement with clients to understand their unique financial needs and objectives. Specialized Expertise Providing in-depth knowledge in specific banking products (lending, deposits, cash management) Developing customized banking solutions for complex client needs Staying current on regulatory changes affecting banking products Serving as the technical expert for sophisticated banking arrangements Banking Products and Services Structuring sophisticated credit facilities (unsecured loans, lines of credit) Arranging specialized mortgages for luxury properties or complex ownership structures Creating custom deposit solutions with preferential rates Implementing cash management strategies for non-trading entities Facilitating foreign currency transactions and international banking needs Client Support Working alongside other specialists during client meetings Explaining technical aspects of banking solutions to clients Helping resolve complex banking issues or service concerns Providing quick response to time-sensitive client banking requests Qualification and Experience requirements: FSCA Recognised Qualification Minimum NQF Level 7 Degree RE5 10 Years overall experience in the Financial Services Industry, of which 5 years of experience as a Private Banker or Private Advisor dealing with Wealthy HNW clients. #LI-NK3 #POST #FNB Important Closing Date Note Take note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below. 31/08/26 All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
